About the Event

Emotions play an important role in our everyday lives, decisions, and interactions.

While many of us may be aware of this reality, it isn’t always as easy to identify those emotions, manage them, use them for the benefit of ourselves and others.

When was the last time you allowed your emotions to “get the best of you?”

It’s time to take back control.

But in order to do that, you have to be intentional.

You have to have some form of accountability.

And if nothing else, you need to know.

Know what?

What emotional intelligence is, why it matters, and how it affects how you show up at work, in the home, among fri—let’s just face it. Our emotions affect how we show up everywhere.

It's time for you to master the what, why, and how of the emotions we experience every day.

Kayleon is inviting 20 participants to join her for a 5-week interactive program centered around three modules. Here is what you will learn:

• Module 1 – Introduction & Self-Awareness (Week 1)

o The history of EQ

o How our emotions show up in every aspect of our lives

o Practical steps to identifying and properly managing our emotions

• Module 2 – Self-Regulation & Motivation (Weeks 2-3)

o How to re-frame negative thoughts to achieve your goals

o The key to effective goal setting and maintaining a positive attitude

o How to take initiative, stay committed, and avoid burnout

o How to maintain a healthy drive

o The differences between balancing and prioritizing

• Module 3 – Empathy & Social Skills (Weeks 4-5)

o To recognize how the people you interact with impact your emotions

o Ways to foster diverse relationships

o When to compromise and how to negotiate with others

o How to leverage your influence as a change catalyst

o Why IQ isn’t enough and “people skills” are just as vital

In addition to gaining timeless knowledge, benefits of this program include:

• Individual reflections, assessments, and assignments (Optional but recommended)

•      Weekly check-ins

•      Lifetime access to all recordings and accompanying resources

At the conclusion of the final week, there will be a celebration to individually recognize all participants and provide space for reflections and final thoughts.
